Fish Farm Project

Started by Alan Flemming, benefitting the jobless in Khayelitsha

Why was it started?
To help traders with money and improve diets (contribute to food security in the area)

How was it done?
All resources needed for small scale fish farming is made available to the people of Khayelitsha. A container equipment and fish is provided.

Social and Economic Implications
Social upliftment: allowing them to generate income as well as putting food on the table. Predictions depict an income of 370 US dollar per person per month.
