To establish small scale farmers who are linked to the value chain
How was it done?
With government support Martin mentored a small group of farmers (grouped together). Management support full production loans and a guaranteed offtake agreement was established. KKI got involved providing chicks and buying ostrich.

Social and Economic Implications
Strong mentorship, sense of ownership. Farmers were grouped together increasing support and communication and creating an economy scale.
